REFORME SWEDISH MOTORCYCLE JACKET
DESCRIPTION
Inspired by the iconic 1960s Swedish Army motorcycle jacket, this piece draws from a design originally developed for demanding field conditions where wind protection, durability, and freedom of movement were essential. Built from sturdy military canvas, each jacket is unique, reflecting the functional design language of mid-century Swedish military outerwear while standing today as both a collectible surplus piece and a highly wearable garment with strong character.
This version features a high protective collar with snap closures, a single-breasted front designed to shield against wind, and a deliberately practical construction adapted to life on the road. Unlike the better-known winter model with its double-breasted closure, this variation offers a more streamlined silhouette while preserving the rugged utility of the original design. Adjustable elements and large asymmetrical pockets reinforce its functional purpose, while the natural patina of the canvas gives each piece a distinct appearance shaped by time and use.
Reworked as part of our REFORME program and made in Paris in our workshop, each piece is reconstructed from original military garments. It retains the authenticity of the original Swedish issue while offering a rare opportunity to own a distinctive canvas motorcycle jacket shaped by both history and transformation.
