WWII U.S. Navy M-422A
An authentic U.S. Navy M-422A flight jacket from World War II — not a reproduction.
Originally issued to Navy and Marine Corps aviators, the M-422A was the standard before the introduction of the postwar G-1. This rare piece features all the hallmarks of wartime manufacture: supple seal brown goatskin leather, original mouton fur collar, and wool-knit cuffs and waistband. Inside, the russet wool lining is intact, with signs of wear consistent with its 1940s origin.
Please note: the current zipper is a later double-slider replacement — not original to the jacket. While fully functional, it differs from the single-pull brass zippers (typically Talon or Conmar).
