NBC PROTECTIVE PANTS
DESCRIPTION
These British Army NBC MkIII protective trousers were issued as part of a Cold War era chemical defense system designed for nuclear, biological, and chemical warfare scenarios. Intended to be worn as an over-garment, they were layered over standard trousers to reduce exposure in contaminated environments.
The design features a high-rise cut with fixed suspenders for secure positioning during movement and while wearing full equipment. The loose fit allows ease of movement and rapid donning, while adjustable straps at the leg openings help tighten the trousers around boots to limit particle ingress.
