SWEDISH MOTORCYCLE LEATHER JACKET
Originally issued to Swedish military motorcyclists in the 1950s, this heavyweight leather jacket was designed for protection and durability on the road. Manufactured in Malung — Sweden’s historic leather-working town — by the maker Oljons Skinnvaror, the jacket reflects the high standards of mid-century Nordic craftsmanship.
Constructed from thick, full-grain leather, it features a unique asymmetrical front panel with double-button closure, wooden toggle fastenings at the shoulder, and a wool-lined stand collar. Reinforced stitching, wide cuffs, and a belted waist panel complete the rugged, high-performance silhouette developed for cold-weather riding.
Worn and richly patinated, each jacket has developed its own character over time — a collector-grade piece of utilitarian design and Swedish military heritage.
