Size

Lightweight khaki field jacket issued to French colonial officers stationed in North Africa during the interwar period. Tailored by Barnatticus, Blida — a known outfitter of the French military — this early Saharienne features all the hallmarks of pre-war tropical uniform design: pleated chest pockets, cuffed sleeves, and a sharp notch lapel collar.

Constructed from breathable cotton to withstand desert heat, it stands as a direct ancestor of the modern safari jacket. A rare, museum-grade piece of early 20th-century military tailoring with undeniable presence.
