Originally issued to French naval personnel, these trousers were designed to withstand the daily abrasion of shipboard life.

Cut from a dense, tightly woven navy denim, the fabric has real structure and weight. It holds its shape before gradually softening with wear. The high rise and straight leg create a clean vertical line, while the single front pleat allows ease of movement without disturbing the silhouette. Rear patch pockets and minimal detailing keep the construction direct and purposeful. Turn up the hem and the contrast reveals the thickness and integrity of the cloth.
